See Your Countertops Before We Cut Your Slabs
Every natural stone slab is unique. Our Digital Layout service allows you to preview how the veining, movement and natural characteristics of your actual slabs may appear in your finished countertops before fabrication begins.
Make the Most of the Stone You Selected
Remodeling your home is a significant investment, and the details of your countertop matter. Natural stone can contain dramatic veins, subtle movement, color changes and unique characteristics that make every slab different.
Digital layout gives you a clearer picture of how those characteristics may appear throughout the finished project before permanent cuts are made.
See the Natural Veining
Preview where major veins, movement and unique slab characteristics may appear.
Review Seam Locations
Better understand how countertop sections are expected to meet throughout your project.
Adjust the Layout
When material and fabrication requirements permit, countertop pieces can be repositioned to better utilize desirable areas of the slab.
From Full Slab to Finished Countertop
Your countertop pieces are digitally positioned over high-resolution images of your slabs. This creates a visual representation of how the material can flow throughout your kitchen, bathroom or other countertop project.
The Digital Layout Process
Our digital layout process helps connect the stone you select with the countertops that will ultimately be installed in your home.
Select Your Material
Choose the slab or slabs that best match your project, design style and color palette.
Digitize the Slab
High-resolution slab imagery captures the movement, veining and natural characteristics of the material.
Position Your Countertops
Individual countertop pieces are digitally positioned across the available slab area.
Review & Fabricate
The layout can be reviewed and, when possible, adjusted before your slabs move into fabrication.
More Confidence in the Finished Result
Digital layout allows important features of the slab to be considered before fabrication. This is especially valuable when working with material that has dramatic movement, distinctive veins or significant color variation.
- See major veins before fabrication
- Visualize pattern direction and stone movement
- Review proposed countertop piece placement
- Better understand anticipated seam locations
- Request layout adjustments when fabrication permits
Your Countertops Shouldn't Be a Surprise
Once a natural stone slab has been cut, the location of its veins, movement and unique characteristics is permanent. Digital layout gives you the opportunity to better understand the finished appearance beforehand so your countertop can more closely match your expectations.
Advanced Digital Slab Layout Technology
Accent Countertops utilizes Slabsmith technology to create high-resolution digital images of your selected slabs and position your countertop pieces over those images. This technology helps our fabrication team plan material usage while giving you a valuable visual preview of your project.
Some Layout Limitations May Apply
Digital layout provides greater flexibility and visibility, but countertop placement cannot always be changed freely. Slab dimensions, material defects, seam requirements, structural considerations and fabrication limitations may affect the final layout. Our team will help determine which adjustments are practical for your project.
